The Research On Layout Multimodal Discourse Of Government WeChat

With the rapid development of Internet technology in today’s world,China has gradually developed a new model for the development of new government media with the “two-micro-end” as its main part.The government WeChat,which has increasingly occupied an important position in daily communications and government affairs disclosure,has become one of the focuses of the current study,and a considerable number of scholars have conducted a certain degree of discussion and analysis from the point of view of news communication,sociology,statistics and so on.Linguistic research should also pay attention to this and make some achievements.Recently,the theory of multimodal discourse analysis that based on systemic functional linguistics and visual grammar is widely used in research.Language ontology is no longer the only focus of research.Non-language modalities such as pictures,actions,videos,and format are all involved in the construction of meaning.Layout multimodal discourse is usually the most neglected part of multimodal discourse,aims to study the arrangement and cooperation of various elements of an interface.Based on the thoughts of Halliday’s three meta-function and the theory of Kress&Van Leeuwen’s visual grammar,this study takes "Hangzhou Government WeChat" as an example to conduct a preliminary study on the layout of multimodal discourse,it focus on the following three points:First,what are the compositions of government WeChat layout of multimodal discourse,and how to coordinate the construction of meaning between the parts and the whole?Second,what are the functions of multimodal discourse in government WeChat layout? Third,What problems exist in government WeChat layout multimodal discourse? What are the optimization strategies?This study starts from a new perspective,and introduces the multimodal discourse on the edge of visual communication into the research,and analyzes the text layout from three aspects:ideational function,interpersonal function and textual function.From the perspective of representational meaning,interpersonal meaning and compositional meaning to discusses the image layout.It also makes a detailed analysis of the meaning of the overall composition of government WeChat layout multimodal discourse.In addition,it also summarizes functions,problems and optimization strategies,widens the research field and application field of the theoretical framework of multimodal discourse analysis,and it has certain guiding significance for promoting the relevant research of government WeChat.
