A Textual Study On Lexical Comparasion Between "Xingshiyan(???)" And "Jinpingmei Cihua(?????)"

Xingshiyan and Jinpingmei Cihua are two vernacular novels of great linguistic research value in the same period of Ming Dynasty.The former dialect background is northern dialect,and the latter dialect background is southern dialect.Starting from the two books,this paper combines the corpus of the same period horizontally and refers to the corpus of other times vertically in order to get a glimpse of the general situation of vocabulary usage in the Ming Dynasty.This article is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction.This paper mainly introduces the research object,research status,research materials,research methods and research significance.The second part is synonymous.The essence of synonymy is to study the evolution of vocabulary.This paper chooses the common words "neck" and "bathing" to focus on the investigation,and explores the reasons for the different use of words in the two books.After investigation,the reason for synonymy is due to the different usage of words in North and south.The third part is homonymy.The homonymy refers to the difference in meaning and usage of the same word form in the two books.This paper mainly investigates three cases with the same word form but different word meaning in the two books,and makes a preliminary exploration into the reasons for the different usages.The fourth part is dialect words.Two the dialect background of the book is different,and there will be dialectal words with different characteristics.This article selects the northern dialect word "Lilac".In the south,we choose the words of "foot" in the southern dialect,and discuss the use of the morpheme "foot" in the words of the southern dialect.Then the dialect words in North and South are remitted separately.The fifth part is the conclusion.The conclusion is a retrospective summary after sorting out the full text and reflecting on the above many linguistic phenomena.
