The cultivation of core competences of students has always been the top priority of English teaching in junior high school.Effective reading as an important way can ensure its cultivation in our daily teaching.Text provides some basic resources for the teaching of English reading.It endows the reading teaching with topic,situation and content.It also helps the expression of the topic in a manner of analyzing and presenting its special,and interior logical structure,stylistic features and the form of language to organize and present the information.Therefore,it has received much attention for its analysis towards topic,content,the structure of questions,linguistic features,author itself in a deeper way.Text analysis can help hold its topic,dig out its cultural value,analyze its stylistic and linguistic features to build a closer relationship with the topic.The paper starts its analysis using text analysis.First of all,the author makes a literal review to the genre-based theory and the theory of integrating teaching of reading and writing and founds the importance and necessity of the study.Based on the scheme theory and the whole language,the author puts forwards the focal point of this study that is the study of writing aim,linguistic strategies and schema structure of narrative writing and expository writing and the way to apply them in the teaching.This paper makes a specific text analysis to the six cases of expository writing and five cases of narrative writing from its writing aim,linguistic strategies and schema structure these three aspects.From the analysis,the integrating teaching of reading and writing.The author founds that the differences in narrative writing and expository writing and the writing aims of both of them have a profound influence to its structure and linguistic feature.Based on the text interpretation,this paper makes a case analysis to the eleven cases.Based on the new curriculum and the key competencies,the case analysis focuses on the author and the text itself from teaching strategies such as putting the analysis of writing aim to the center of the teaching,the structuring of text interpretation and the explicit way in linguistic teaching to improve the efficiency in the teaching of English reading.
