Chinese Abbreviations From The Perspectivr Of Lexical Constructionalization

In recent years,the abbreviation of modern Chinese has undergone the change from rhetoric to Lexicology,and then began to study the construction of abbreviations.Some scholars began to explore the changes of their grammatical function,and other scholars start to study on the perspective of cognitive linguistics to the modern Chinese abbreviations’ meaning before and after the change,which is a gradual and in-depth process.When the theory of constructionalization is more and more used to explore the language evolution of Chinese,we find that abbreviations have new meaning and new forms of pairing on the micro-constrution level defined as"lexical constructionalization".We think that in the abbreviation of modern Chinese,the pairing of new forms and meanings is the result of the temporary creation of instant nodes,which is called instantaneous lexical constructionalization by Traugott(2013).Some abbreviations are gradual in the process of Constructionalization,after a series of changes,known as Gradual Constructionalization.This paper will use some related theories of lexical Constructionalization and cognitive linguistics to explain the representative and solidified abbreviation of modern Chinese.And we will apply the Constructionalization theory of "Usage-Based" approach to the research,and explore the grammatical,semantic,phonological changes about abbreviation of modern Chinese.This article is a total of five chapters,mainly discusses the modern Chinese abbreviation as the result of lexical Constructionalization,how to generate,build and use.The first chapter of the introduction part,mainly elaborated the reason for the topic selection,also introduced the modem Chinese abbreviation research present situation,the research significance,this article theory framework,the research method and the innovation point.The second chapter,the basic part of the theory,mainly introduces the concrete content of the new structure grammar theory,the generalization and characteristics of lexical Constructionalization.This part emphasizes the development of instantaneous lexical Constructionalization.And mainly expounds the concrete content and characteristics of the concept of"Usage-Based",which is a way to discard the isolated and static study of the phenomenon of language,and to put it in the "whole,use-based" model of the research method.The third chapter expounds the formation of the new structure of acronyms from two aspects of form and meaning,the meaning of expression,the form of meaning embodiment,and the interdependence of the two.The formal aspect is mainly discussed from two aspects of phonological form and grammatical form,and the semantic change is classified and explained from the old to the new kind of polysemy links,metaphorical extension links and subpart links.The fourth chapter describes abbreviations from a holistic perspective,and explores the predictability of new forms and new meaning pairings.In the network model based on the concept of use,explore how to "not fully predict"the new structure.At the same time,the grammatical,pragmatic,communicative factors need to describe.We also pay attention to the frequency effects on the.construction of abbreviations.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part,mainly describes the research results,summarizes the shortcomings and the prospects for the future.
