Research On Revolutionary Organizations For Children And Adolescents During The Anti-japanese War

Xin’an Travel Group is a revolutionary organization for children and adolescents,which was formed during the War of Resistance Against Japan.During the special period of national distress,Xin’an Travel Group traveled from East China to North China,northwest China,central China and southwest China.During this period,Xin’an Travel Group accepted the proposal of the Underground Party of the Communist Party of China and secretly established the Party branch within the organization.It completed the transformation from the organization of children and adolescents aiming at practical life education to the revolutionary organization of children and adolescents under the leadership of the Communist Party of China aiming at publicizing anti-Japanese and national salvation ideas.Guided by Tao Xingzhi’s theory of life education,the organization practiced the educational ideas of "life is education" and "society is school",and insisted on teaching,learning and doing in the context of the national liberation war.They propagandized the revolutionary thought of resisting Japan and saving the nation by studying and traveling all over the country,and contributed their strength to the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan.As a revolutionary organization for children and adolescents during the Anti-Japanese War,Xin’an Travel Group experienced dynamic changes in its organizational objectives,members,organizations and activities.In terms of organizational objectives,it has undergone a transformation from the organization of children and adolescents aiming at practical life education to the revolutionary organization of children and adolescents led by the Communist Party of China aiming at publicizing the anti-Japanese and national salvation ideas;in terms of organizational members,it has increased from 14 children initially established to nearly 600;in terms of organizational structure,it has developed from immature to mature;in terms of organizational activities,it has also changed from resistance.The propagandist of the idea of saving the nation by Japan has become the organizer of the children’s movement.From its establishment in 1935 to the end of 1952,Xin’anTravel Group has traveled more than 45,000 miles in 18 provinces in China,known as the "national trumpet player".Starting from the research direction of children’s organizations,this paper studies the period from 1935 to 1945 when the Anti-Japanese War was won.By reviewing the historical background of the birth of Xin’an Travel Group,tracing its study route,studying the changes of the organization system,members and modes of activities of Xin’an Travel Group in different periods,and exploring the specific contents of the activities of Xin’an Travel Group.Based on the analysis of the historical role and Contemporary Enlightenment of Xin’an Travel Group,it can provide reference for the development of children’s organizations in the new era and the cultivation of children’s ideology.
