It is an important period for the development of individual prosocial behavior in adolescence.The development of prosocial behavior is conducive to the physical and mental health,good socialization,and is conducive to the stability and harmony of the society.As a kind of peer relationship,peer acceptance that affects the cognitive,behavior and personality development of adolescents is also an important factor affecting the development of adolescents’ prosocial behavior.The results show that the higher the degree of peer acceptance is,the higher the prosocial level is,and the more prosocial behaviors will have.In addition,the development of prosocial behavior not only has contextual factors,but also personal characteristics,and their interactions.Therefore,this study introduces the personality trait of social value orientation,and explores the influence of peer acceptance and social value orientation on adolescent prosocial behavior.The experiment in Study 1 used the social psychology paradigm Cyberball Game for initiation of peer acceptance/rejection context,and the contribution of the economic paradigm Dictator Game as a prosocial behavioral indicator to examine the difference in fair decision-making behavior after being accepted or excluded.Study 2 used a questionnaire to examine whether the environment of peer acceptance and exclusion of adolescent growth has a predictive effect on their prosocial behavior.At the same time,we concluded some educational suggestions through the research,in the process of teenagers’ education and growth,we should attach importance to the development of their peer relationships,create a good prosocial atmosphere,and actively pay attention to teenagers’ mental health.The main conclusions are as follows:1.Whether it is in the dictator game in Study 1,or the prosocial behavioral tendency measurement in Study 2,it generally shows a preference for fairness and a higher prosocial level in adolescents;2.Peer acceptance and social value orientation can positively predict the prosocial behavior of adolescents,that is,the accepted individuals have more prosocial behavior than the excluded individuals,and the prosocial orientation has more prosocial behavior than the pro-self orientation;3.In the adolescent group,the interaction between peer acceptance and social value orientation is not significant.The influence of peer acceptance on prosocial behavior may be caused by strong emotional experience,as well as psychological sense of being,belonging,self-esteem and control.
