Functional Imagination Of Folk Beliefs

The development of the technological world has brought convenience to the daily life of Shimazhuang villagers,and it has also brought psychological fear beyond the normal response of the people.Folk beliefs have been re-constructed as local knowledge as a strategy for local people to cope with technological shocks.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part mainly describes the formation and development process of local car worship.The second and third parts record the participation of local individual worship and collective worship ceremony,reflecting the characteristics of the ceremony in the specific practice process.In the fourth part,the worship group is taken as the main body to further explore the integration and reconstruction of local knowledge in the process of car worship.The fifth part analyzes the generation of car god worship under the background of social transformation.The underlying causes of development,and on this basis,further reveal the operational logic and potential functions of the ritual after maturity.This paper attempts to examine the ethnographic worship of the car god worship and its rituals in the hometown of Shimazhuang,and combines the specific process of ritual practice with the time and place of the villagers to worship the car and its purpose.Explain the ritual function of car worship and the subtle interaction between the folk life and social transformation,and discuss the practice of car worship in the belief and social background of Shimazhuang village life,discover and explain the car god Worship expresses the awareness of local knowledge and the identity of believers.
