The Research On Proofreading Translation Of Surarnaprabhasottama-Sulra(Vol6)in Tangut Version

This thesis selects text content of the Tangut text Surarnaprabhasottama-Sutra(vol6)as the research object.During the Xixia period,Surarnaprabhasottama-Sutra were translated and re-proofed twice,they are existing original version,revised version and again proofread version.This thesis is based on the interpretation and collation of Surarnaprabhasottama-Sutra(vol6),from the Angle of philology and linguistics,this paper studies the circulation order of editions,and summarize the principles of emendation,and inductive linguistic features.Firstly,this paper sorts out several texts of Surarnaprabhasottama-Sutra(vol6)in the literature of Heishuicheng Manuscripts collected in Russia,the literature of Heishuicheng Manuscripts collected in Britain and the literature of Tangut Manuscripts collected in China,and a number of unidentified fragments in the "Heishuicheng Manuscripts collected in Britain" were verified as the text of the Surarnaprabhasottama-Sutra volume 6.On this basis,the author annotates the differences among the texts.Secondly,the author makes a comparative study of two different Buddhist incantations translation in version collect in Russian and the version collect in Chinese.The study found that version collect in Russian was translated from Chinese,and the version collect in Chinese was translated from Sanskrit,and the two versions of Buddhist incantations were analyzed by xixia and Chinese phonetics and xixia and Sanskrit.Thirdly,this paper textual research the spread order of the three versions,it is indicated that the version collect in Russian is the frist translation of buddhist scripture in the period of Xiahuizong,the version collect in British is the revision of the translation of buddhist scripture in the period of Xiarenzong,and the national library version is the updated revision of buddhist scripture in the period of Xiashenzong.Finally,this paper makes a preliminary discussion on the translation regulations and principles of Surarnaprabhasottama-Sutra(vol6),and the changes of the revised version compared with the original version are analyzed,and it mainly includes correction errors,synonym substitution,correction of non-translated words,correction of translated words,abbreviation,addition and so on.The different emphases of the two corrections are further analyzed,and it was found that the Xiarenzong version was focus on correction error,and change of buddhist incantations,etc.The Xiashenzong version is mainly adapted to the Chinese translation.
