Meng Haoran is a famous landscape idyllic poet in the Tang Dynasty.The language of Meng's poems is simple and natural,but rich in content which is an important corpus for studying the vocabulary of the Tang Dynasty.This thesis takes all the polysyllabic words in Meng Haoran's poems as the research object.describes and analyzes the words formation and characteristics.At the same time,we compared the polysyllabic words in Meng and Wang Wei's poems,Meng and Li Shangyin,Du Mu's poems.This article is divided into the following five parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the reasons for the selection,the research status,research materials and methods,and defines the definition criteria of polysyllabic words.The second part mainly describes and analyzes the composition of Meng's poems.There are 2084 polyphonic words appearing in Meng's poems,80 cases of simple words,and 1714 cases of synthetic words.From the perspective of part of speech,the number of nouns is the most.From the perspective of word formation,grammatical word formation predominates accounting for 82.2%.It can be seen that the development of vocabulary in the Tang Dynasty is quite active,and the way of word formation has been very mature and stable.The third part mainly compares the polysyllabic words in Meng Haoran's poems.The first part compares Meng Haoran's poems with the polysyllabic words of Li Shangyin and Du Mu's poems,from which you can glimpse the rapid development of the Tang language,especially the vocabulary.The second part compares Meng Haoran's poems with the similar polysyllabic words in Wang Wei's poems.From this,we can see some interesting phenomens:Meng Haoran's poems are good at static writing,Wang Wei's poems are good at writing static;Meng Haoran's poems are interesting in expressing natural life.Appreciating the power,Wang Wei see the speciality in creating a quiet and deep atmosphere of artistic conception;Meng Haoran's poetry is the emotional expression of truth and nature,and Wang Wei is a rational reflection and sentiment.The fourth part is a comparative analysis of the polysyllabic words of Meng Haoran's poems.The fourth part mainly discusses the diachronic situation of the polysyllabic words of Meng Haoran's poems.The specific method is to use the "Chinese Dictionary" as a reference material,and at the same time,with the help of other literatures,and to explore the new words and their historical evolution in the polysyllabic words of Meng Haoran's poems in comparison with modern Chinese.The fifth part is the conclusion,which points out the research content and conclusions of this paper,and explains the shortcomings of this paper.
