A Study Of The International Ceramic Culture Communication Of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute

Colleges and universities shoulder the important missions of talent cultivation,scientific research,social service,cultural inheritance and innovation,and international communication and cooperation.In the face of new opportunities and challenges,Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute makes full use of its geographical advantages,takes the five functions as the foundation,and adheres to the university running philosophy about plain,success,tolerance and determination,makes the cultural communications in various fields of the university move forward steadily.This paper takes Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute and its predecessors as the research object,starts from its university functions,and focuses on exploring how "human-beings" use ceramics to promote the international ceramics culture communication.It is different from the previous studies,most of them focus on taking objects as the subject.This paper is aimed at showing the mainstay-position of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute in Chinese universities and promoting cultural diplomacy and communication with foreign countries.Tracing back to the origin and reviewing the history,in the more than one hundred years of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute,there have been many events which have a major impact on the ceramic culture communication between China and foreign countries.Some events have been recorded in books,while some events cannot be retained and forgotten by the world due to the relocation of past sites and the underdeveloped science and technology.This paper intends to search for articles through extensive collection of information to reconstruct historical events,and to sort out the same type of events,to form a clear context and reveal the deep meaning of the event.Through the ceramics culture communication,we can understand the social background at that time and summarize its historical significance.Through the events,we can analyze the social background,the factors of action and the positive role that this event will play.At the same time,we can lay a solid foundation and set a direction for the future development of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute.Through combing the past experience and the research in the field of international ceramic culture communication of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute,it can reflect its effects in promoting the progress of ceramic science and technology,in the development of ceramic industry and the prosperity of culture and art in China.It can also make us consider in the future,as a higher institution of ceramic industry,it will broaden the path of international talents fostering,strengthen international cooperation and promote the Chinese ceramic industryinternational influence.
