There were Tang dynasties,calligraphy in Tang Taizong's strong praise,all kinds of books have made considerable development,under the guidance of Zhang Xu and Huaisu in the Tang Dynasty,to the passionate and unrestrained artistic realm,reached a peak of lyric freehand.The lyricism of cursive writing in this period to play incisively and vividly.By Northern song dynasty,cursive calligraphy,style,or cursive theory had a great change,from Tang Cao's freedom to Song people's management position.This gives the cursive a new face and connotation,which is a creative pursuit with modern artistic characteristics in the history of Chinese calligraphy.Based on the clues of herbalists of Tang and Song dynasties,this paper expounds the general situation and artistic characteristics of the development of cursive books in Tang and Song dynasties,and enumerates representative cursive writers in Northern song dynasty on the basis of historical materials,and analyzes their inheritance,development and influence on the cursive books of Tang Dynasty.Then,taking the social background of Song Dynasty and the aesthetic view of calligraphers as the starting point,this paper probes into the causes of the formation of cursive style in Song Dynasty,in order to be able to further understand the inheritance and development of cursive style in Song Dynasty to Tang Dynasty.
