Nowadays,the psychological problems of college students have become more and more prominent.They have received the attention of society and become one of the popular issues of college students’ education.As a popular design method in the new era,gamification has a promising application in the field of health management because of its unique driving role in user behavior.As an inseparable aspect of modern human health,the combination of mental health management and gamification also has unlimited possibilities.Based on this,the article explores the application of gamification in the management of college students’ mental health,promotes the development process of college students’ mental health management,and builds a comprehensive and systematic mental health management pattern for college students,which is the mental health education for college students in the new era.And management to provide new ideas;at the same time,it also provides guidance for product and system development in related fields.In the early stage of this paper,the literature research on mental health management was firstly carried out.The basic content and development status of mental health management were understood.The content forms,existing problems and supporting conditions of college students’ mental health management were analyzed.Secondly,the article combs the characteristics and application fields of gamification,and studies the motivation theory related to gamification in self-determination theory.At the same time,it is driven by the game elements in the gamification DMC system and the gamification behavior in the octagonal behavior analysis method.Organize and analyze the case of gamification mental health management.Through the above comprehensive analysis of theories and cases,the path of gamification intervention mental health management is sought,and the intervention points including gamification motivation discovery,mechanism setting and component matching are explained.In the middle of the article,through the research on the user group of college students and the investigation of the school mental health center,parents,psychologists,the paper summarizes the thoughts and behavior characteristics of college students,analyzes the needs of college students’ health management,and sorts out the mental health management of college students.The way,combined with the analysis of the intervention point of gamification on mental health management,the gamification needs transformation.In the later part of the article,the author summarizes the gamification strategies of college students’ mental health management.The main conclusions are as follows.(1)For the mental health management of college students,there are four major programs: systematization of management content,collaboration of management methods,gamification of management methods,and intelligent management of products.(3)The principles of mental health management of college students include: the principle of centralization,the principle of appropriateness,the principle of pluralism and the principle of continuity.(3)The gamification ideas of college students’ mental health management are as follows: the first step is to determine the mental health management objectives;the second step is to explore the gamification motivation;the third step is to set up the gamification mechanism;the fourthstep is to match the gamification components;The fifth step is to follow up the feedback.(4)Different gamification strategies should be adopted for different stages of college students’ mental health management.In the stage of monitoring the mental health data of college students,the incentive monitoring strategy oriented by achievement reward should be adopted;in the evaluation stage of mental health level of college students,the induction evaluation strategy driven by unknown loss should be adopted;in the stage of mental health education of college students,it should be adopted Inspired education strategy with social interest as the goal;in the psychological health risk intervention stage of college students,an intensive intervention strategy based on restrictive punishment should be adopted.Based on this,the author conducted a case study to verify the scientific and universal nature of the theory.In the end,the author perfected the gamification design system content of college students’ mental health management.This study aims to focus on the service and promotion of mental health of college students,introduce the gamification mechanism into the field of mental health management,and try to solve the problem from the perspective of design.At present,the relevant theories of gamification are mainly concentrated in foreign countries.The theoretical research and practical application of gamification intervention mental health management can be very few.The author hopes to expand the relevant theories and application fields of gamification through this research,and at the same time provide new ideas for the mental health management of college students.
