A Study Of "Female Orientation" Narration In The Network Danmei Novel In The Post-modern Context

In the post-modern context,many functions of "Grand Narrative" are weakened or even disintegrated,in which the advent of consumer society,the rise of Feminism,the birth of Network Culture and other phenomena complement each other.In such a cultural environment,the online Danmei novels,a prominent branch of Chinese Danmei subculture and rooted in the "Female orientation" space of internet tribal culture,are characterized by its own experimental,revolutionary,let many post-modern elements be merged,digested and re-presented.This thesis takes the original Danmei novels on the Internet,especially the original Danmei novels on the website of Jinjiang Literature City,which is the largest gathering place of original Danmei novels on the Internet in China,as the research object,and uses various theories in the post-modern perspective as the theoretical resources.This paper examines the narrative features of "Female orientation" in Danmei novels from three perspectives,and further discusses how these narrative features reflect the aesthetic orientation,emotional orientation and gender consciousness of the women in the present Danmei subculture community and makes the clarification to the online Danmei novel to their significance.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter discusses after the "withering" of the "Grand Narrative" in the post-modern context,the Network novel redefines the "Grand Narrative" and"Daily Narrative" which be included of the traditional literary criticism,and further discusses online Danmei novel how to reconstruct the daily narration with "database-style writing",and how to reconstruct the "Grand Narration"with the emotional expression of everyday characters.It is the practice for women to construct a unique narrative paradigm with their unique emotional needs.The second chapter analyzes the changing phenomenon of the emotional narrative pattern of Danmei novels and its readers' reading preference from"sadomasochism" to "sweet love" with the theory of consumption culture.From this,we can see that the new paradigm of post-modernism and "Female orientation" subverts the traditional emotion and gender paradigm.In the third chapter,through the analysis of the sexual role division way of"seme/uke",and the type of sexual role model "the uke become stronger",this paper discusses how this mode expresses the practice of "Network Feminism" in Danmei novels with the post-modern fluidity identity.Finally,this paper argues that the online Danmei novels express the resistance and subversion to the traditional Patriarchal Paradigm by the women in the Danmei subculture community in a post-modern way.They constructed a brand-new spiritual space with unprecedented self-subjectivity through the Danmei novels.
