As a young art,the film has been used for reference to other art since its birth, and has a unique position in the art(especially the novel),because it has a close relationship with the film because of the aesthetic nature of both the narrative and the lyrical. As the cultural giant of the 20 th century and the founder of modern Chinese literature, the novel of Mr.Lu Xun,through in-depth and sharp strokes, revealed the national character of the Chinese, and criticized the national inferiority from the angle of culture, and it has a new interpretation and therefore,Lu Xun's novel has great value as a movie adaptation text. The thesis is based on Lu Xun's small film, which is based on Lu Xun's novels. In this paper, the text of the film and the film, which is based on the adaptation of Lu Xun's novels,is taken as an example, with the emphasis on the three aspects: the basic pattern of the adaptation, the image presentation of the film and the semantic relation of the novel's film adaptation. The paper discusses the process of the transformation from text to image and the value and limitation of the adaptation of Lu Xun's novel film.In addition to the introduction, this paper is divided into four parts. The introduction part mainly summarizes the selection of Lu Xun's novel film and the current situation of the research, and then points out the insufficiency of the research on the film adaptation of Lu Xun's novel and the innovation of this thesis. The first chapter focuses on the analysis of the basic types of adaptation of Lu Xun's novel films, which is to be cut into three adaptation modes: transplantation type, compound type and alternative type, and a simple sort out of several adaptation works which can be found with a point and a face. The second chapter focuses on the image presentation of the film adaptation of Lu Xun's novel, and discusses the modeling of the time-and-space art from the two angles of the figure and the scene. The last section of the image narration analyzes the transformation of the abstract literary narrative into the specific image narration, and the reconstruction of the original narrative perspective, the narrative structure and the narrative rhythm according to the film's creation rule. The third chapter focuses on Lu Xun's novel film adaptation of the relationshipbetween the language map.Film adaptation,as a comprehensive art that combines literature with images, and abstractness of characters with representativeness of images,is bound to involve the transformation from language text to image text.First of all, novels and movies,as two different arts, will inevitably have a certain narrative gap in the process of collision. This paper probes into the reasons of birth and acquisition of the gap and the main expression in the adapted works.Secondly, language and image as two dimensions of space-time media narrative in the collision will not only produce a gap in the map. Moreover, there exists the fusion of language and image, including the fusion of language symbol and image, and the stitching of language form(voice)to the graph. Finally, although the language text and the image text show different forms, they still need each other and give each other vitality, that is,there is a certain intertextuality. The intertextuality of the language text and the image text is embodied in the narrating and requisition of the same object by different texts, that is,the same objects represented by the language and the image, the requisition of the image to the language text, the imitating writing, the supplement of the language text to the image, and the promotion of the image. Thus produce the aesthetic effect full of tension. The fourth chapter is the last part of the thesis, focusing on the macro-analysis of Lu Xun's novel adaptation to the audience and the original works produced by the dissemination value and aesthetic limitations.
