Xinjiang is located in China's northwest frontier and the hinterland of Asia.Under the influence of globalization,cultural exchanges between China and other countries in the world become closer and closer.Xinjiang is not only a strategic place on the silk road,but also a significant window for China to cooperate with neighbor countries.With the proposal of "Belt and Road Initiative" cooperation,Xinjiang is facing unprecedented development opportunities.In the context of such an era,it is of more practical significance to clarify the story of Xinjiang,to protect,explore and study the cultural resources and literary achievements of Xinjiang.Based on this realistic factor,research path and the development of Xinjiang literature in the new period,this paper mainly focuses on the novels of foreign writers in Xinjiang in the new period,grasps the law of the era of Xinjiang literature,and explores its value.In addition to the introduction,this paper is divided into six chapters:The first chapter mainly clarifies the historical context of the writers from other provinces and their coming identities.The reasons for their coming to Xinjiang are as follows:personal choices in the political environment of the 1960 s,the era mission of the XPCC construction,and the attraction of Xinjiang's beautiful,rich,exotic and natural humanistic environment.In addition,this chapter classifies the identity of writers from other provinces,and considers that self-exiled travellers,frontier builders,and livelihoods forced by livelihoods are their main identities.The second chapter mainly explains the influence of Xinjiang culture on the author's creation style,cultural concept and cultural identity.It believes that Xinjiang's unique humanistic environment promotes the style of foreign writers to be humorous and accepts the lives of local minorities in long-term life.Consciousness of these writers has changed from the “external people” to “local people”.The third chapter mainly summarizes the themes of the writers' novels from other provinces in the new period,and applies the theories of knowledge archaeology and daily life criticism to reveal the main theme of the novel,that is,under the exotic customs,the "others" living memory,people's pursuit of ideal and the transcendence of self in the predicament under the wisdom of“territorial taste”.The fourth chapter is mainly based on the analysis of the characters in Xinjiang novels from foreign writers in the new period.It points out that the main characters are the ethnic minorities and the youth of the Corps with the spirit of "Tama Xiaer".Under the "outside" view,the novel shows the deep,lonely and tough spiritual world of the ordinary people in the frontier.The fifth chapter analyzes the the narrative strategy of Xinjiang novels in new period through the three aspects:The combinationof the limited perspective and omniscient perspective,the "polyphonic" discourse mode with the color of "dark debate",and the use of local images in Xinjiang.The sixth chapter focuses on the analysis of the cultural values and limitations of Xinjiang theme novel,and combines the current White Paper on the Cultural Protection and Development of Xinjiang and the “Belt and Road Initiative”to explore the mission of the New Age Literature in spreading Xinjiang culture and Xinjiang.The material cultural heritage is transmitted by literature as a carrier.This paper tries to combine the temporary and historical discourse contexts with social historical criticism as the main research method,and integrates the theories of knowledge archaeology,Bakhtin discourse theory and daily life criticism to explore the basic features of Xinjiang novels from Xinjiang writers in other periods.On the basis of rooting in Xinjiang's customs and historical context,it reflects the journey of a generation of mainland writers and ordinary border compatriots.It profoundly demonstrates the humanity of Xinjiang and the optimism,strength and deepness of Xinjiang.The spiritual world objectively makes an important contribution to strengthen cultural exchanges between the mainland and Xinjiang.
