A Study On The Impact Of Korean Students' Using Chinese Internet News On Cross-cultural Adaptation

With the rising international status of China,the number of students studying in Ch ina has increased dramatically.In the era of developed network and popularization of smart phones,almost all international students can easily access and understand the current situation of China through Internet news.Therefore,Internet news has become an important means for foreign students to learn new information in China.This research paper takes Kore an students living in China as the research object,studies their time and motivation a nd satisfaction of using Chinese Internet news,and analyses the correlation between t he two variables of using behavior and cross-cultural adaptation,also explores the im pact of reading Chinese Internet news on Korean students'cross-cultural adaptation.Based on the cross-cultural adaptation theory,the use satisfaction theory,the use m otivation theory and the satisfaction theory,six hypotheses were set up.A questionnair e survey was conducted among Korean students living in the whole region of China on the use time,motivation,satisfaction and cross-cultural adaptation of'Chinese Inter net news.SPSS software is used for statistical analysis of survey data.The study sho ws that there is a positive correlation between the time of using Chinese Internet new s and cross-cultural adaptaion.Secondly,there is a positive correlation between prop motivation and cross-cultural adaptation.That is to say,comepare with users who habi tually use Chinese Internet news,user who use it purposefully are better at adapting t o Chinese culture.Finally,there is a positive correlation between Chinese Internet new s usage satisfaction and cross-cultural adaptation,but the correlation coefficient is not high.The above results show that although Chinese Internet news has not brought obviou s changes to Korean students'cross-cultural adaptation,but it is helpful to their cross-c ultural adaptation to a certain extent.At present,most of the students use the platfor m with weak credibility.If they use the platform with strong credibility,they can get better learning results.Furthermore,if can master the correct knowledge of the use of Internet news,we can apply it to cross-cultural education.
