Classroom questioning is one of the most important parts of classroom teaching.Effective classroom questioning is an important way to carry out classroom teaching smoothly and ensure good teaching effect.High-quality classroom questioning can not only promote more oral output of students,but also create a positive learning atmosphere.Therefore,how to make classroom questioning more effective and how to encourage students to output more oral English is the research topic of this thesis.Taking foreign students of Liaoning Shihua University as the research object,this thesis discusses the influence of teachers' classroom questions on students' oral output from the four aspects of question types,question forms,question strategies and teacher's feedback by using the methods of classroom recordings,student questionnaires and teacher interviews.This thesis is mainly divided into the following five parts:The first chapter is the introduction.This thesis mainly introduces the reason of topic selection,research significance and research methods.This thesis also reviews the research on classroom questions and TCFL classroom questions at home and abroad,and points out the basic theory of classroom questioning and the elements that influence the oral output.The second chapter investigates the relationship between the teachers' classroom questioning and the students' oral output.Classroom recordings,student questionnaires and teacher interviews are applied.The third chapter is the analysis part.On the basis of the recorded text,combined with the student questionnaire and the teacher interview,the thesis analyzes the impact of the teacher's classroom questioning on the students' oral output from the four aspects.They are question type,question form,question strategy and teacher's feedback.According to the result of the research,the four aspects are being compared.The fourth chapter is the conclusion of the thesis.The thesis concludes how the teacher's classroom questioning influence the student's oral output and put forward some suggestions.Teachers should strengthen the consciousness and ability of questions.Teachers should pay attention to the proportion of question types,the questions should have close relationship to the actual life.Teachers' questions should combine a variety of questions form and take the consideration of various factors.Teacher should select the appropriate question strategy to improve the effectiveness.Teacher should rich the feedback form of the students' right answer and guide the student rationally facing the feedback of the wrong answer of the students.
