Based on the speech act theory and the western politeness theory and the politeness characteristics of Chinese culture,this paper studies the us e of Chinese inviting speech acts by 95 Chinese students of the Chinese,English,and Chinese in the four universities in Guangxi.The full text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly expounds the back ground and reason of this research,the purpose and significance of the research,the analysis of the status quo of the research,the theoretical basis of the research,and the research methods and corpus.In the second chapter,the comparison of the speech act of Chinese and Thai is taken as the starting point,and the similarities and differences of the expressions of the language of the speech act of Hantai are investigated.Through research,it is found that the same point: Hanwha invites the speech wheel’s turn-wheel mode,the function and classification of the initial behavior,the seven categories of auxiliary language,the core behavioral function and the strategy classification are basically the same.Different points: the invitation step of the Chinese-invited multi-turn mode is more formulaic,and the invitation procedure of the multi-turn mode invited by the Thai language is not formulated;the three classifications of the initial behavioral language of Hantai invites are not the same.2-2;There areno two types of commitments and presentations in the Thai-speaking auxiliary language;the positive and negative interrogative sentences in the inquiring strategy of Chinese invitation to the core behavioral languag e have no relative correspondence in Thai.The third chapter examines the situation of Thai students using Chinese to invite speech acts,and discusses the pragmatic factors that affect the use of Chinese inviting speech by Thai students.The study found that the core behavioral strategies used by Thai students at the primary Chinese level were relatively balanced,and the proportion of direct inviting strategies and inquiry-based strategies was not much different,while the core behavioral strategies used by Thai students in the middle and advanced Chinese level were mainly It is a direct invitation-type strategy;Thai-speaking students at the elementary Chinese level and Thai-speaking students at the intermediate and advanced level of Chinese are mainly concentrated in four categories: explanation of reason,possibility of exploration,supplementation of information,and boast of benefits;with the Chinese level of Thai students Raising,the number of initial behavioral words they use to invite Chinese has also increased.In addition,when the Thai students of the primary Chinese level and the Thai students of the interme-diate and advanced Chinese level are invited,the choice of the invitation strategy will be influenced by the social distance,the social power,the difficulty of the matter and the age of the listener,and the two groups of subjects.The invitation strategy chosen is also different.The fourth chapter,from the perspective of teachers and students,puts forward targeted teaching suggestions,in order to improve the language communication ability and pragmatic ability of Thai students.
