Research And Practice Of Chinese Painting Creation On The Subject Of Miao People

The paintings of ethnic minorities have been the subject of artist’s expression since ancient times,and they occupy an important position in the history of Chinese painting.The Miao nationality is one of the ethnic minorities in China,mainly distributed in the southwestern part of China.The Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture is a large concentration of Miao settlements after Guizhou.In the course of thousands of years of historical development,the Miao people in Xiangxi area have friendly relations with other peoples of all ethnic groups.Under the great environment of national culture integration,the Miao people of Xiangxi have always maintained the uniqueness of their own culture.This thesis takes Miao nationality painting as the research object.Through the investigation of the national culture and regional characteristics of the Miao nationality in Xiangxi,this paper explores the creative background and artistic style of Miao painting in different periods,especially its modeling style,composition layout,color application,etc.The problem has been studied in depth,combined with his own creative practice,using the painting method of meticulous brushwork,elaborated on the expression of the theme,shape and color in the creative process,and then made the era,nationality and innovation of this subject.New thinking.
