Knight music,as a kind of secular music,didn't spread in Europe in the middle ages which was full of religious music until the 10 th century and along with it,a series of related music and social phenomena appeared.Knight music has clear ideological enlightenment effect.After the theme of "love at court" is added,elements related to love are gradually added to knight music.At the same time,the stylized love model in "court-love" has also become one of the characteristics of knight music,and even the content and connotation of music under the rule of religion are subverted by view of love which has influence on secularism.Knight music is not a pure type of music.The essential difference between it and later music lies in the fact that knight music in this period developed with narrative poetry and lyric poetry in literature,and this phenomenon is determined by the close relationship between medieval poetry and music.Mean while,in view of the relatively simple social environment and immature feudal system in the middle ages,the relationship between knight music and social and historical environment became relatively clear at this time.In this paper,the development of knight music is studied,combined with the development of medieval literature and poetry,and the dual relationship between social and historical environment and knight music is analyzed.Ideal image in the knight music has happened and appeared along with the occurrence of knight music and the confirmation and collapse of the ideal image has relationship with rise and fall of knight music.When knight music declined,the ideal image collapsed along with it as well.It leads to the study of ideal image which can reflect the content change of knight music to some degree.The development of knight music is reorganized and analyzed The first three chapters of this paperThe first chapter focuses on the prototype of knight music--the emergence of knight music in France and the influence of lyrical elements added on knight music.The first section introduces the knight image created by the knight music which has gradually been tall and lofty and idealized under the effects of secularism and religion.The second section is to analyze the causes of lyric elements and discusses the influence of lyric elements on knight music.The second chapter focuses on the spread and integration of knight music under the social environment.The fusion of the northern and southern knight music is viewed from two perspectives of genre and theme.At the same time,with Germany and Spain as the representative,knight music in France spreading out and changing is to be viewed under the influence of historical events.Through the changes of knight music in different countries,the relationship between knight music development and regional social and cultural environment is reflected.Chapter three: starting from the social environment changes caused by the rise of the bourgeoisie,taking the performance of transformation of the ideal image in the knight music and the decline of the knight class in reality,this chapter discusses the relationship between the social and political environment and the knight music from the theoretical level.Chapter four: while studying the sensitive relationship between knighthood music and society,it analyzes the relationship between music and the society in the middle ages by the concept of cultural diamond.It aims to illustrate the close relationship between knight music and the social historical environment in the middle ages.Along with the study of middle ages of relatively simple social system and the close relationship between music and society,the analysis between music and society is analyzed more clearly.
