Analysis On The Application Of Dance Motivation In The Creation Of The Original Works "Following As Shadow"

Dance motivation derives from the musical theory,which usually refers to a dance action or a short rhythm as the smallest structural unit in dance.The creation and directing of dance works start from the creation of dance motivations.The selection and application of dance motivation,rooted in the choreographer's understanding of dance art,plays a fundamental and core role in the creation of dance works.Skillfully mastering the use of motivation provides practical methods for director to capture and excavate dance images,develop and extend dance language as an indispensable part.It can effectively prevent some defects,such as becoming formalism,chaos of dance language and mechanical dance movement.In this paper,the original dance work "Following as Shadow" being taken as an example,the actual embodiment and use of different dance motivation in the works are described in detail,and the actual effects of various dance motives in the specific application have been analyzed one by one.Summarizes the understanding and inspiration of the use of dance motivation in the process of dance creating.
