In recent years,under the influence of market economy,visual culture and diversification of public demand,the survival and development of documentaries has attracted the attention of all sectors of society.On the premise of guaranteeing the authenticity of the records,providing natural and authentic documentaries to the audience has become the type of programs launched by various TV stations.In the early stage of the development of documentary,domestic TV stations mainly learn from and imitate foreign documentaries.At this stage,various domestic TV stations have launched a variety of documentaries,especially Hunan TV station.In the process of creating documentary,they have accumulated rich experience and opened a road of innovation and change.Hence,Hunan Electric Power Station is the main channel for the development of documentary.It is of great significance to further study the creative methods and techniques of TV documentary based on the model of TV station for promoting the leapfrog development of TV documentary based on story.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature research,case analysis and induction and summary.Firstly,it introduces the research status of story-based documentaries,combs the development,generation and development of Hunan TV's story-based documentaries.Secondly,it explains the characteristics,types and innovations of Hunan TV's story-based documentaries.Finally,it analyses the image innovation and innovation of Hunan TV's story-based documentaries.Editing innovation,and summarize the foregoing,draw Hunan TV documentary narrative creation and skills use experience.Through research,three conclusions are drawn: 1.Compared with other domestic TV stations,the development of Hunan TV's storytelling documentary has gone through three stages: germination,rise and maturity.It has obvious characteristics in subject selection,theme content,creative means and interpretation methods;2.The types of storytelling documentary produced by Hunan TV station mainly include: social life,people.There are many innovations in the creation of storytelling documentaries by Hunan TV Station,which are mainly image innovation and editing innovation.Through the above analysis,this paper draws the conclusion that storytelling documentaries should follow three basic principles in their creation,namely,advocating cultural self-confidence,taking the route of civilian style and precise positioning,and avoiding them.It avoids extensive entertainment and pays attention to interaction with the audience.
