Between Good And Evil--two Images Of The Prosperous Common People In The Southern Song Dynasty And Their Text Generation From Yi Jian Zhi

The study of"rich society"is essentially different from the study of other names and property systems.Most of the historical materials we use come from the group of literati and doctors who are closely related to this class.They are observing,recognizing and evaluating the rich people through their hands,eyes and hearts.Based on this understanding,it is more important to pay attention to the text generation of relevant historical materials.As an ambiguous novel,the rich stories in Yijian Zhi have a wide range of sources and naturally contain the general social mentality,which deeply reflects the evaluation and expectation of the small people,scholars and even scholar-bureaucrats to the important social stratum of"rich people".The article holds that the two images of rich people's"heroism"and"elder"are essentially the result of the guidance of public opinion after the rise of social wealth forces in the Song Dynasty,and are the mutual agitation of"good faith"and"malice".The so-called"malice"mainly refers to the hatred of the rich as the majority of the people in society,the use of the"weapon of the weak"under the weak mentality,and the deliberate tarnishing and vilification of the image of the rich from the perspective of"wealth is less valuable than wealth"and"the discrimination between righteousness and benefit"as the individual scholar-bureaucrats who have the right to speak.The emergence of such"malicious"is accompanied by the output of values.The so-called"goodwill"mainly refers to the scholar-bureaucrats as local officials who,in order to achieve the ideal of"the rich and the poor are mutually financially invested",actively advised the rich people.In the process of persuasion,they not only created a large number of images of rich and benevolent elders,but also made full use of the general characteristics of the Song Dynasty society to deliberately amplify and constructed a whole discourse system of persuading the rich people.In fact,the vast amount of historical data we can access about the rich people is more the expression of"ideal rich people"in the minds of scholar-bureaucrats.Therefore,the author believes that in the current study of enriching the people,we should not only pay attention to the"good"and"evil"in the historical materials,but also to the"good"and"malicious"images of the good and evil,which reflect the complex relationship between the rich people as an important social stratum and other groups.
