On "Meaningful Form" In Reappearance Art

Clive bell's "meaningful form"has aroused a heated discussion in our country.One of the key points of the debate is whether it is reproducible in denying art.Bell believed that many reappearance works in western art have"meaningful forms",especially in post-impressionism and cubism.Cubism's exploration of form established collage.In recent years,the development of science and technology has enriched the collage medium.At present,the hand account collage has also become a new form of creation.In today's increasingly rich visual culture,the author believes that it has become very important to reinterpret"meaningful forms" in the new stage.Based on the concept of "representation"in a broad sense,this paper analyzes Clive bell's"meaningful form" and tries to analyze and study its performance in the current popular hand book collage from the perspective of"meaningful form".Firstly,taking the generalized"representation"as the entry point,this paper analyzes several problems related to"representation",explains the relationship between"meaningful form" and the generalized"representation",and tries to explain the signification of "implication" in"meaningful form",and explains the meaning of the existence of "implication".Secondly,by analyzing the visual expression of"meaningful form"in reappearance art creation,this paper explores the ways and elements of creating"meaningful form",and explains the influence of "meaningful form"on collage art creation.Finally,taking the hand account collage as an example,this paper analyzes and studies the expression of "meaningful form"in the hand account collage.Through the analysis of works,it explains the reproduction technique in the hand account collage and the creation of visual form in the hand account collage.
