In recent years,Chinese scholars to spread political economics Angle of view for China’s development of traditional media,such as TV,newspaper,radio and transformation are studied and discussed,but the political and economic analysis for the main melody movies are rarely research,the author tries to research in the field of space to fill,new liberalization of China’s main melody movies characteristics of political economics.This paper is dedicated to analyzing the development of thematic films under the control of national policies and describing the change of the country’s leadership in market culture.As a localized concept with Chinese characteristics,thematic films cannot be completely compared with similar foreign films.However,it is hard to avoid falling into the trap of being closed-door if only studying domestic thematic films.Therefore,this study needs to be considered and improved.Restricted by politics,market and other factors,China has strict laws and regulations on the production and review of thematic films,and the development of commercialization is quite limited.However,compared with the market development of other types of films in China,thematic films are always in the lagging stage of "undernutrition".Because the thematic film is an important means to control the output of cultural soft power and cultural leadership in China.It is an inevitable trend of marketization to develop thematic films which are beneficial to the government to educate the public and conform to the audience market’s expectations of the film content.The breakthrough of thematic films is the result of the running-in between the market and the government.In the process of film development,the regulations of relevant government departments are not fully synchronized with thematic films,so the commercialization of thematic films shows a long-term gap and lag.In terms of film approval rules,China’s relevant laws and regulations are very conservative,with strict control over the entry of social capital,and the censorship of thematic films is even more cautious.Therefore,commercial thematic films have always been in the taboo area of film production.On the other hand,the government-led "within the system" mainstream films cannot meet the market demand and are rejected by the capital market,presenting the situation of "low-release films" and "low-box office".This paper focuses on exploring the linkage between national policies and market competition,and then from the theoretical perspective of political economy,explores the characteristics of liberalization,commercialization and institutional easing of Chinese mainstream films.The introduction introduces the background,purpose,significance,literature review,concept differentiation and research methods of the research.The third chapter discusses the regulatory role of national policies in film production from the perspective of political economy and cultural leadership,and studies the mode of its role and the reform of communication structure.The fourth chapter Outlines the ecological environment of the main theme film by sorting out the policies and systems at different historical time points,and discusses the industrial forms brought by the game between the policies and systems and the market operation.Chapter five reflects on the problems and possible challenges in the future of thematic film and cultural industry under the influence of policy and system.Chapter six summarizes the whole research. |
