From the perspective of TCSL,this paper reviews the former research results on the"V+Zai+NP" structure as the basis of further error analysis.Theoretically based on error analysis and corpus linguistics,by the approach of corpus analysis and questionnaire survey,the HSK dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University and a related part of the inter-language corpus of Jinan University(totaling more than 820,000 words)are used as the main text source to investigate which types of errors are more likely made by foreign students when using the "V+Zai+NP" structure.And on the basis of such research,the author also designed a questionnaire to look into how the "V+Zai+NP" structure is acquired and used by foreign students,and 55 students in the Overseas Education College of Jimei University took this survey.By analyzing the survey results,it is concluded that mistakes such as addition,omission,disordering,substitution and blend are often made by foreign students acquiring the "V+Zai+NP" structure,among which addition is the most common and omission takes the second place.After investigation into the source corpus and the related grammar point distribution in the textbooks used by the survey takers,it is also concluded that linguistic transfer,the overgeneralization of the target language knowledge and the influence by teaching materials are among the main causes of mistakes.Further,on textbook compilation and teaching activity arrangement the author offers several humble opinions ut infra.In textbook chapters concerning the "V+Zai+NP" structure,those "confusingly similar" language points should be carefully distinguished,the grammar explanations should be purposefully offered,and after class reading materials and exercises should be adequately provided as well.During classes,pictorial method,enhanced bilingual contrast,diverse practice forms,and well-timed reviews and conclusions are recommended.
