Under the background of economic globalization and the globalization of competition,Chinese enterprises' overseas m&a have developed rapidly.In 2008 the financial crisis had brought great opportunities for Chinese enterprises' overseas m&a,after the financial crisis,Chinese enterprises' overseas m&a continued to maintain steady growth while the global economy recovered.While Chinese government;s"going out" strategy spseds up Chinese enterprises' overseas m&a.Under the background of today's rapid development of technology and innovated requirements of the growing environment,many enterprises lack sufficient time and ability to independently develop new technologies or enhance the advantages of existing technology.Overseas m&a,especially the technology-seeking overseas m&a is as an important way of accessing to external knowledge and technical resources to expand the scope of technology and becomes an important internal r&d supplement.In this context,China's technology-seeking overseas m&a develop rapidly,Chinese enterprises have to go abroad through overseas m&a to obtain the advanced technologies of developed countries and improve competitiveness.However,Chinese enterprises' overseas m&a doesn't escape the "seven seven laws".Ultimately many enterprises' overseas m&a failed due to cultural integration problems.So the technology-seeking overseas m&a cultural integration has great research value.The paper selects the technology-seeking overseas m&a cultural integration as the research perspective to carry out the writrng.Ferstly,the paper analyses domestic and foreign literature of related technology m&a and cultural integration and expounds the theoretical basis of related technology m&a,overseas m&a and cultural integration.Then on the basis of these,it analyses the current situation of China's technology-seeking overseas m&a cultural integration.After that case studies are used to analyse Lenovo's successful acquisition of IBM's PC business and SAIC's failing acquisition of South Korea's Ssangyong.Finally,based on the previous research,the paper concludes a cultural integration flow chart from the enterprises' perspective of micro-level,the industry associations' perspective of meso-level and the government's perspective of macro-level.It aims to provide guidance for China's future technology-seeking overseas m&a cultural integration.Innovation point of the paper bases on the perspective of technology-seeking,seeking a comparative analysis ot the case and concluding a cultural integration flow chart,it aims to provide guidance for China's future technology-seeking overseas m&a cultural integration.The shortcomings of the paper lie in the lack of abundant overseas m&a cases and experience and the limited collection of literature and materials because of the author's limited ability.Therefore,further study and research are needed in the future.
