Age Trace-A Brief Description Of My Mimeographed Woodcut Creation

Oil-print and color-matching woodcut is an important form of artistic creation.In the process of creation,the artist not only pays attention to the expression of his ideas and feelings,but also pays attention to the artist’s proficiency in the techniques of oil-print and color-matching woodcut.The development of offset-printing and color-matching woodcut printmaking is gradually developed from woodcut,multi-color printmaking and multi-printing and color-matching woodcut printmaking.It has distinct characteristics and its own ontological language.It has experienced constant practice exploration and research summary by artists,and has a better development situation in the perspective of contemporary printmaking.By integrating the emergence and development of offset-color woodcut,and making a brief combing,taking graduation creation as the basic line,this paper synthesizes the author’s study and Research on offset-color woodcut in Yunnan Institute of Art during his postgraduate period,and discusses the source of inspiration,the establishment of theme and the choice of expression of works,combining with a large number of arts.Through theoretical knowledge,art history and Chinese and Western printmaking history,Printmaking Exhibition and other books and articles,we can understand the current situation of the development of offset and color woodcut printmaking,determine the research direction,and gradually explore the practical creation.According to the creation,this paper elaborates the basic characteristics of offset-printing and color-matching woodcut,and makes a systematic and comprehensive analysis and research.In the process of research,it considers the influence of the use of offset-matching woodcut techniques in its own pictures.This paper discusses the comparative analysis of plate making and printing material tools in offset-printing and color-matching woodcut,finds out the appropriate techniques for creation,and expounds the emotional thinking and expression in the process of creating works.And the accumulation of experience and the discovery of problems in the creation of offset-printing and color-matching woodcut are summarized,and the methods to solve the problems are summarized.From simple to complex creative research,the artistic expression of the language research of offset-matching woodcut is discussed step by step in combination with my own practice.
