Since the reform and opening up,popular culture has become an important social and cultural phenomenon in life.With its strong dispersibility,permeability,consumability,entertainment and emulation,it has a very important impact on the audience.Primary school pupils,especially senior pupils,are sensitive to the emergence and development of popular culture.They consciously integrate into popular culture through daily life such as daily language and popular games.However,influenced by physiological and psychological factors,pupils are mostly receivers of popular culture,and because of their low cognitive level,poor judgment ability and aesthetic ability,they have To be promoted,all aspects of consciousness are in the formation stage,more vulnerable to the adverse impact of popular culture,leading to a variety of Ideological and personality problems and bad behavior.Therefore,paying attention to the current situation and characteristics of pupils’ popular culture is an important prerequisite for guiding the direction of pupils’ popular culture.The current situation of pupils’ popular culture is a real problem in reality.The research takes 16 students in Grade 6 of X school in S county,J city,Jiangxi Province as the research object,collects relevant data through interviews,deeply describes the current situation of pupils’ popular culture,explores the content,characteristics,influencing factors,functions and pedagogical significance of pupils’ popular culture,which can provide reference for teachers and parents to guide pupils’ popular culture.The study found that popular culture of primary school students mainly includes popular books,popular movies and TV,popular games,popular words and idolatry.The main characteristics of popular culture are as follows: in the relationship with adult culture,pupils’ popular culture shows confrontation-compromise;in order to entertain and receive education,pupils are the main motivation to participate in popular culture;as participants,senior pupils are mainly the recipients of popular culture;in the form of popular games,traditional games gradually disappear,and the Internet is the main reason for pupils to participate in popular culture.Game became the main choice;respondents tended to self-project in participating in popular culture.The cultural values held by pupils are as follows: 1.achievement orientation;2.hedonism orientation;3.stimulation orientation;4.universalism orientation.Popular culture has a tremendous impact on pupils’ value orientation and daily behavior.The quality of pupils’ participation in pop culture depends on professional and targeted guidance.In order to improve the level of pupils’ popular culture,first,parents and teachers should establish a good and mutual trust relationship with pupils,so as to facilitate their parents to understand pupils’ dynamic and psychological conditions and give timely and targeted guidance;second,parents and teachers should pay attention to improving their children’s aesthetic and discriminatory abilities,so as to avoid pupils falling into vulgar popular culture. |
