In the history of the development of Western music, its peak period is Classicism and Romanticism,so during my postgraduate study,I focused on the generality and individuality of these two music periods. This concert is mainly Classical and Romantic in the selection of the repertoire, and focuses on selected Classical works of several representative composers,in order to better learn the music characteristics of these two periods from these works,so as to make up for the deficiencies in previous studies.Classical music follows the natural law of human development with a rigorous and scientific attitude, while Romantic music seeks to break out of the shackles. Therefore, the development of Classicism and Romanticism in music inheritance has its inevitability. They also reflect and interact with each other.Although there are collisions, they will not affect their respective development and integration. The first part of this paper deals with the stylistic characteristics of music in classical and romantic periods and the music convergence of the two periods. The second part introduces the life of Beethoven and Schubert,as well as the creative background and style characteristics of the two works. The third part is through my own performance of Beethoven’s Piano Sonata in F Minor No.3 Op.57 and Schubert’s Impromptu in B flat Major Op.142,No.3.and through a combination of two works. In this way,the blending of classicism and romanticism can be shown in more detail. The fourth part is an analysis of the lyricism, drama and reality of music, analogizing the characteristics of the works of the two composers, and then elaborating how classical music and romantic music are reflected in detail. The last part is a summary and overview of the whole paper. In the whole process of research and study, combining theory was applied with practice.Through the individual concert,I present the theoretical knowledge through the form of piano performance, and integrate my understanding of the music characteristics of these two periods into the daily repertoire practice.By analyzing the creative background and style characteristics of the two composers in different periods, and closely focusing on the blending point of Classical and Romantic, this paper deeply explores the two works, summarizes the musical characteristics of successive works in the two periods, and then elaborates the reflective relationship of the two works one by one,and ultimately sublimates to the essential analysis and characteristic summary of the blending of water and milk in the two periods, which is also the creation of this paper. |
