The old word new meaning is a special language phenomenon.In order to adapt to this phenomenon,there is a kind of word that gives the old word a new meaning in the way of ‘old bottled new wine'.that is ‘old word new meaning word'.‘Old' and ‘New' are relative concepts.Regardless of whether there is a connection between old and new meanings,as long as a word changes its meaning before and after a certain time,it is regarded as ‘old words and new meanings'.The traditional study of old words and new words in the academic circles is time-consuming and laborious,so it is of great significance to automatically identify the evolution of the meaning of the old words and new words.The analysis of syllables,part of speech,structure type and usage of these words is the basis for studying the evolution of old words.The automatic recognition of words is the premise of automatically recognizing the evolution of words.Put the old words and new words into the Corpus of People's Daily,determine the meaning of words according to the context and Chomsky grammar,realize the automatic recognition of the meaning of the old words and new words,and use the method of distributed word meaning to represent the word vector.By constructing a deep learning model to extract related words with similar distances from keywords,and calculating the semantic similarity between related words and keywords,then using cosine similarity to calculate the similarity between related words in adjacent time periods,and then Determine whether the meaning of a word has changed.The larger the similarity value obtained,the smaller or no change in the meaning of the word,and vice versa.The experimental accuracy rate is 82.5%.The research results show that the old words are mainly composed of two syllables,the nouns and verbs occupy the dominant position,the structure types are complex and diverse,and the phrasing trend is obvious.The change of time and the development of society are the important factor of evolution;the use of words in each time period also indirectly reflects the change of word meaning,the word frequency is proportional to the change of word meaning.
