The Application Of Max In Sound Installation

Nowadays in the electronic music field,interactive sound installation is always a important topic.With the powerful computing ability of the computer,there are more and more effective programing software for the interactive sound installations.This dissertation introduces the application in sound installation of Max and the specific programing thought,which based on the development of the electric guitar interactive Max program.The dissertation includes six chapters.The first chapter is about the basic concept and the history of sound installation,the origin and development of Max.The second chapter is about the basic idea of the electric guitar installation,and its structure design.The third and fourth chapters,which introduce the programing method for the modules of the electric guitar installation in Max,and the instructions of the final application.The fifth chapter summarizes the sound installation designed in this dissertation.The sixth chapter analyses the further development of the sound installation.With the six chapters' introductions and discussions of the application of the Max in sound installations,it offers good thoughts and references for the music technology works.
