Research On The Influencing Factors Of Chinese Film Export

With the acceleration of globalization,cultural industry is playing a more and more important role in international trade,and the proportion of cultural trade in GDP in developed countries is rising.China's economy is in the stage of structural upgrading,and the cultural industry can become a new growth point of China's economy.As an important part of cultural trade,film plays an important role in China's economic development.Promoting the export of film products is conducive to the structural upgrading of China's economy and promoting the further development of China's economy.Firstly,the general situation of China's film industry and its export situation are discussed in stages.Then,by comparing the current situation of China's film export with that of the United States in terms of policy,scale,theme,export area and marketing,it is found that China's film export lacks policy support,industry scale is small,subject matter is relatively single,export area is relatively centralized and marketing propaganda is not done.Foot,and these aspects have hindered our country's film out of the country.Subsequently,this paper uses the panel data of film exports of 14 countries which are frequently engaged in film trade between 2007 and 2015 as dependent variables,and uses the modified gravity model to find the correlation with GDP,geographical distance,cultural distance,age structure and foreign relations through random effect regression.It is found that there is a positive correlation between gross domestic product of our country and trading countries and China's film export and a negative correlation between cultural distance and China's film export.Age structure and diplomatic relations have an important impact on China's film export,while geographical distance has no significant impact on China's film export.Through the above regression and analysis,this paper puts forward the following policy suggestions.First,our government should support the key nodes of film enterprises,give preferential tax treatment for film export reduce the lending interest rate of film enterprises,support the foreign direct investment of film enterprises and set up special awards for overseas films.Second,to improve our culture,our government should promote international film festivals,and support international exchange activities.Thirdly,in international film cooperation,our film enterprises can choose internationally renowned actors,organize film festivals jointly with other countries.Fourthly,in the way of film marketing,our film enterprises can choose internationally renowned actors.Enterprises should increase the proportion of marketing costs,subdivide the international market and learn advanced marketing methods.Fifthly,media colleges in China should improve the level of internationalization,introduce practical talents and train film talents with international standards.Through the implementation of the above five specific measures,China's film export will be promoted,and China's economy will be further developed.
