Artistic Characteristics And Performance Techniques Of Chinese Piano Music Huang Pi

Piano music Pi Huang combines the essence of Chinese culture with the piano of Western instruments,which promotes the diversified development of music style in China.It not only uses music to express Chinese music culture and national characteristics with a long history,but also spreads the world through piano performance.Zhang Chao is a famous composer in China.Most of his works are based on folk music,and he has won many big awards at home and abroad.Pi Huang won the first prize of adult works in the 1st China music creation competition Palatino Cup on June 4,2007.The first draft was completed in 1995.After ten years of repeated revisions,it can be seen that the work is exquisitely crafted and contains profound connotations.In 2009,the final draft was adjusted in details.This paper discusses the artistic characteristics and performance of Pi Huang in four chapters.The first chapter introduces the background of this work,with composer's creative ideas,story in the music and understanding of the plot the work described.The second chapter analyzes the elements of Peking Opera in Pi Huang from different aspects,such as changes of singing style,plate-style structure,scene and national style in Peking Opera.Chapter three discusses how to play the same piece in a different style by analyzing the pianist's performance.Chapter four is divided into three levels to elaborate.The first level is from the level of melody to explore how to better conform to the performance of works from coherent lines of phrases,water-like brilliance,smart decorative sound and the comparison of the styles of similar Chinese works.The second level analyzes that the performance should pay attention to the changes of different rhythms and speeds.In terms of timbre,the third level is not only the timbre of touch keys,but also the music language created by the works is particularly rich.The use of weak tone pedal in many detailed tables and active staccato adds different colors to timbre,which makes music sound richer and more personalized.The work Pi Huang created by composer Zhang Chao has made the development of Chinese piano music more diversified with important status and significance.The author hopes to carry forward the excellent works of China through his own performance practice and exploration,and provide more information for more players and help them with more comprehensive understanding and performance of works,to promote the development of Chinese piano music.
