Modulation in intonation during expression is the most attractive things in Chinese language and it can help us to flow our emotional expression accurately.This article uses Chinese Yes-No questions for experimental material to;intermediate level Thai Foreign students as experimental object,recording mechanism,the theoretical basis for "Intonation pattern”.In contrast to with Chinese students,The analysis is made on characteristics and the Intonation error of intermediate level Thai students Chinese Yes-No questions and bias situation,and put forward teaching suggestion.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is introduction which includes writing purpose;definition of Intonation,research status,research Ideas,research methodology and theoretical basis for the research.The second part is experimental design which introduces the experiment object at the beginning of the chapter followed by the required equipment and software for experiment,necessary instructions for the experiment and a detailed description about experiment materials and methods.The third part is for the Rising and falling degree analysis.In this chapter,An analysis of intermediate level Thai students on Rising and falling degree in Yes-No questions,it’s pitch features and errors is made in contrast with Chinese reader.It is Found that Thai students commit a partial narrow at word boundaries in the whole sentence,lacks of rising and falling degree in interrogative,pronunciation errors appear in interrogative models.The fourth part is about the analysis of sound volume ratio.In this chapter,an analysis is made on intermediate level Thai students’ volume ratio on Yes-Noquestions,listed the characteristic of sound intensity and errors.It is found that Thai students commit errors in tone sandhi,overall volume ratio of Yes-No questions is similar to Declarative Sentences,non-interrogative word at end of sentence at phrase are not pronounced with energy and Yes-No question words are pronounced with relatively high acoustic energy.The fifth part is for teaching suggestions.In this chapter an analysis is made on intermediate level Thai students’ cause of errors and put forward some teaching suggestion.
