Research On The Traditional Dai Clay Pottery Art And Its Inheritance In Xinping

The traditional Dai Clay Pottery in Xinping is not only an integral part of DaiClay Pottery in China,but also an important type of traditional folk art in China.The traditional clay pottery making technology of the Dai people in Xinping continues the crystallization of human wisdom thousands of years ago,retains the characteristics of the original pottery making in the Neolithic Age,and is a valuable intangible cultural heritage of our country.The traditional clay pottery of the Dai people in Xinping is practical,and it is still an important daily pottery in Dai people’s daily life.At the same time,the shape and decoration merge into the ancient "Huayao Dai" culture of Xinping County to form its own characteristics,which has both ancient and clumsy aesthetic charm and ethnic minorities,and has high aesthetic value.In recent years,with the progress of the times and the rapid development of economy,the cultural and ecological environment on which the traditional DaiClay Pottery of Xinping lives has changed,and the inheritance and development of Clay Pottery culture are facing new opportunities and challenges.In this context,it is of positive significance for the inheritance and protection of Dai traditional Clay Pottery art to carry out research on the inheritance and inheritance of Dai traditional Clay Pottery art in Xinping.This research mainly uses the research method of combining field investigation and literature research.To explore the historical overview of traditional Dai earthen pottery in Xinping,the basic status of pottery making and its production technology,the classification and artistic characteristics of earthen pottery,and the inheritance and development of traditional Dai earthen pottery culture in Xinping.Firstly,on the basis of collecting and sorting out the relevant documents and materials related to Dai traditional earthenware,this paper combs the historical overview of traditional Chinese earthenware,Yunnan Dai traditional earthenware and Xinping Dai traditional earthenware through the induction and study of existing historical documents and materials.Secondly,through field investigation of two Dai village earthenware production sites in Xinping County,this study recorded and analyzed the basic status of the development of Xinping County earthenware,and elaborated the production process and characteristics of traditional earthenware of Xinping Dai Nationality.Thirdly,through collecting and appreciating the earthen pottery products from two pottery-making sites in Xinping County,this paper classifies and introduces the traditional earthen pottery of Dai nationality in Xinping from the dimension of its use function,and then analyses and summarizes the artistic characteristics of the earthen pottery products.Finally,on the basis of the above research,this study discussed the inheritance and development status of traditional Dai earthenware art in Xinping,and put forward suggestions for inheritance and development according to its local characteristics and actual situation.Through the study of this paper,the author believes that as an important representative of traditional Dai earthenware,Xinping Dai earthenware has distinct national and regionalcharacteristics in terms of pottery making methods,decorative techniques,artistic features of earthenware works and image expression.The original ecological pottery making techniques and aesthetic features of the traditional Dai earthenware in Xinping are in good agreement with the contemporary life aesthetics of returning to nature and ecology.Thanks to the unremitting efforts and management of the local government,relevant organizations and inheritors,the traditional clay pottery art of the Dai people in Xinping will be recognized and loved by more people and become a highlight of traditional culture with national and folk characteristics in Yunnan Province.
