| As one of the representative writers of contemporary avant-garde literature and new historical novels,Ge Fei focused on the exploration of formal techniques in the avant-garde period,and re-narrating history became an important experimental field for Ge Fei.The history in the novels of the 1990 s and the new century is still an important material for his creative ideas,and he integrates humanity,desire,utopian,existence and reality into it.Combining his creative text analysis,although his historical narrative cannot be discussed from the perspective of new historical novels or neo-historicism,under the combined effect of modernist and postmodernist backgrounds and cultural contexts,Starting from his personal experience,Ge Fei’s historical narrative has shaken off the ideology of traditional historical novels and re-drawn a colorful and modern historical picture with new historical concepts and narrative methods."Modern" is a multiple and ambiguous concept in both time and meaning,Modern history is a period of rapid change,Ge Fei’s novels focus on modern history is not only a unique phenomenon,but also based on the reference to Chinese and Western literary resources and his own creative ideas.From the cultural context,historical picture and narrative art,the traditional revolutionary historical narrative is completely reconstructed,and its unique modern historical narrative is established in the paradoxical situation of creation.This paper will analyze and demonstrate from the following sections:The introduction part begins with the history tradition of China,and sorts out the evolution of the history of literature and history in Chinese literature.Secondly,it deeply explores the phenomena of "modern history" and "modern historical narrative",and then leads to the modern historical narrative of Ge Fei’s novels;Finally,the research value and significance of this thesis are established from the current research on the history of Ge Fei’s novels.The first chapter mainly regards the historical construction of Western New Historicism and the novels in the new period of the country as the cultural context of the modern historical narrative.Especially the historical concept of the new historical novels in China is different from the traditional historical narrative.The formation has a significant impact.The second chapter mainly establishes the modern historical picture of Ge Fei’s novels in contemporary literature from the aspects of anti-historic modern revolutionary history,village history and family history of folk standpoints,and personal destiny of desire.Deconstructing the traditional historical narrative,especially with reference to the "17 years" revolutionary historical narrative,shows the various styles of diverse history.The third chapter analyzes the unique narrative art of Ge Fei’s novels from the historical perspective.On the one hand,the form exploration of Ge Fei’s pioneer historical narrative emphasizes the absurdity of history,fatalism and the aesthetic pursuit of uncertainty.The historical novels of the 1990 s and the new century have a tendency to return to the tradition.History has become lyrical and true.The transformation of the narrative perspective highlights the fact that Ge Fei’s historical writing is a poetics of personal memory.The fourth chapter deeply reflects the significance and limitations of Ge Fei’s modern historical narrative from the dialectical point of view. |
