On The Image Of "Wanderer" In Xu Zechen's Novels

Xu Zechen as a representative of the post-70 s writers group,his novel creation in recent years has received more and more attention from the academic circles.Since the official writing of novels in 1997 and Xu Zechen has published more than one million words,including long medium and short texts,further affirming the value of his literary creation.In 2017,"Wangcheng Ruhai" and "Northward" in 2018 reflect the characteristics of Xu Zechen's mature writing style and narrative feature.Among the works of Xu Zechen,the most striking thing is the series of "Beijing drift" novels based on the urban space of Beijing.In the novel,the author focuses on those “drifters” who live in cities in social development and changing times.They are a group that comes from a foreign land to a big city.Xu Zechen described and considered their survival dilemma and mental anxiety in a multi-angle,ith integrating his own wandering experience,peered into the spiritual world of the characters,reflected the understanding and humanistic care of this group,and aroused the society's struggle for difficulties.The attention of the "Wanderers".This article takes Xu Zechen's “Beijing Drift” series as the research object,focusing on representative works such as “Jerusalem”,“Ah,Beijing” and “Heaven and Earth”.At present,there is less comprehensive research on Xu Zechen's "Wanderer" image.Therefore,this paper systematically classifies and compares "Wanderers".Firstly,the characters of "Wanderer" are classified into two categories: career winners,people struggling in poverty and ordinary people living in poverty;the second part is to analyze the spiritual characteristics of characters and explore the idealistic pursuit of characters the difficulty of daily life;the third part focuses on the "wanderer" identity issues,pay attention to their identity dilemma encountered in the city;the fourth part describes the spirit of "wanderers" returning home.Through the shaping of the image of the "Wanderer" and the personal and social problems reflected by the internal meaning,the author summarizes and presents the writer's humanistic care and social thinking about the special group of "Wanderers".
