With the change of time, the manifestation of oil painting has been on the road of constant exploration and innovation.I think the use of color is the experience accumulated from the observation and exploration of the objective world, and it is also the result of conscious cultivation and training of subjective feelings in peacetime. This creation is completely different from my previous paintings. Before that, there was little flower oil painting creation. It was not only a test for me,but also a new attempt in the painting process. In my graduation creation, the form of flower theme is presented by exaggeration, expression, distortion and comprehensive material, combining with the painting technique of Villar, the Nabi color master.Villar's characteristic is to divide the edge lines of characters and objects and add unique colors in different planes of different sizes, thus forming a good combination of realistic and plane decorative paintings,so his works have the reputation of "painting tapestry".I used these advantages of Villar to complete my graduation creation.I also used the structure of Mondrian, the master of cold abstraction,to divide the picture into several different grids and fill it with the basic three primary colors of red, yellow and blue. The combination of Villar and Mondrian, two different painting styles, makes the whole picture have a novel feeling from both color and form of expression, and combines the advantages of both to better describe the expression of flowers. At the same time, some elements of Chinese painting are added, some are circular fans, some are irregular shapes, and the background is sparse,so the picture will have a strong sense of rhythm,I want to express the unique beauty of flowers in my hometown in this way,and in later paintings,I will really use the "artistic language" to serve my thoughts and emotions.
