In Scheler's emotional phenomenology,"shame" has a unique position, that is,"shame"makes people different from animals and God.Animals lack the expression of shame.People are different from animal life instinct and life activities through shame.Shame is a spiritual activity that animals do not have;the place where God lacks shame can happen, that is,God lacks body. Therefore,it will not be ashamed. And people have the possibility of the possibility of shame. He feels free from the animal's indulgence because he feels the nobleness of divinity. The sense of shame comes from the tension caused by animal and divinity in human beings. When the higher-level value sinks to the lower-level value, the sense of shame is generated, which prevents people from sinking into chaos.Man is the "bridge" between the two existence orders of animals and God,and the "transition" between the two essential orders of animal and divinity.Shame can be divided into spiritual and physical:the source of body shame lies in the conflict between the love of life and the sensory instinct;while the sense of soul shame points to the conflict between the love of the soul and the instinct of life.Shame is always a sure value, caring for people's self-worth.Among them, sexual shame as a concentrated expression of body shame, has three value effects, these three effects ultimately point to the love of the soul. The source of shame is also a priori,non-acquired,and is obtained by human spiritual intuition. The essence of man is rooted in the existence order and essential order between God and animal, divinity and animal nature.Since the sense of shame is the connection between the two,it is clear that Scheler's phenomenological research on shame is understood.Scheler's account of the nature of man and his position in the universe is indispensable.
