The Image Shaping And Singing Analysis Of Shui Honglian In The Canal Ballad

The aria " The Afterlife Love" comes from the large-scale original opera " Canal Ballad" and was created by the famous composer Yin Qing.This work is regarded as a touchstone for soprano singers because of its challenging singing skills and extremely difficult emotional expression.The completion of this work requires the singer to have a certain theoretical foundation and application ability for the relationship between emotion and sound in singing.Therefore,learning and singing this work itself is a process of exploring the combination of theory and practice as well as examining and combing the achievements of his vocal music learning for many years.Therefore,this work is selected for research and illustration.This article starts with the most representative aria " The Afterlife Love" in China’s new opera "Canal Ballad",analyzes the image of the hero Shui Honglian in detail and combines the own singing experience,explores the creative features of the works and the handling of singing,finally analyzes writer’s own experience in singing learning and combs his own feeling and inspiration in the singing process.The article is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is an analysis of the heroine Shui Honglian’s image in Canal Ballad.The first chapter is a brief description based on the creation background and plot of the opera.The second chapter is an analysis of the image characteristics of Shui Honglian which lays a foundation for accurately and vividly portraying the characters in singing.The second chapter analyzes the musical form and singing process of the opera which focuses on the four aspects of breath control,language pronunciation,timbre strength and emotional expression during singing in the opera and exemplifies the singing practice.The third chapter specifically tells the author’s own inspiration in the process of singing the selected passage " The Afterlife Love".It realizes the importance of combining practice accumulation and theory combing in vocal music singing.When performing the work,one should take emotion with sound,assist emotion with sound and attach importance to the coordination between myself and piano accompaniment in singing.
