Research On Chu Wooden Warriors In Warring States Period

Wooden figurines are common objects in Chu tombs during the warring States period,which represent the cultural characteristics of Chu.The wooden figurines are not only the reflection of the daily life and customs of Chu people in the tombs,but also the reflection of the social development and the aesthetic characteristics of Chu people.A large number of Chu tombs are excavated and preserved,which provides detailed data for the study of Chu culture,and the deep study of Chu culture by many experts and scholars makes the Chu culture system perfect gradually.Based on the previous research results,this paper studies the Chu wood figurines in the Chu culture system,collects the relevant archaeological data of the Chu wood warriors as far as possible,and makes a systematic sorting out of the Chu wood figurines.This article uses The method of typology classifies the wood figurines in the warring States period into three categories according to their functions: the terracotta warriors,the samurai warriors,the service terracotta warriors,and the karma figurines.Because the wood figurines are the most abundant,only the typological analysis is made on them.The terracotta figurines are mainly composed of wood figurines and their characteristics,which are divided into two types and five subtypes of 19 types.According to the morphological change characteristics of wood figurines,it is divided into five phases,and combined with classification study,the pattern changes of wood figurines in each period are explored.According to the unearthed situation of wood figurines in different areas,the regional quantity of wood figurines is studied to explore the quantitative changes of wood figurines in various areas;combined with the above classification and staging research,the wood figurines are put into the space dimension,and the non-wood figurines in the same period are explored.Characteristics of wood figurines in the same area.From the point of view of wood figurines,under the influence of the origin of wood figurines and the culturalfactors of other countries at the same time,the communication between Chu culture and other cultures is explored.According to the classification standard of Chu tomb and the type and quantity of wood figurines,some Chu tombs were classified.The quantity and type characteristics of wood figurines in Chu tombs of doctor grade and scholar grade were analyzed.Finally,through the clothing characteristics of wooden figurines unearthed in the tomb of Chu,this paper explores the clothing types and styles of the Chu people,and explores the clothing changes of Chu countries in different periods with the help of the classification and stages mentioned above.The author passes the above In order to study the historical significance of wood figurines from different levels,the research shows the social phenomena embodied in wood figurines in many dimensions.
