Research On The Spread And Development Of Chinese Watercolor Painting In The Period Of China

The history of watercolor painting has been more than 100 years since it was introduced into China.As the growing period of Chinese watercolor painting,the creation of watercolor painting in the period of the republic of China has a great similarity with the traditional Chinese painting in both the use of water and the use of coloring,which indicates that watercolor painting gradually integrates the characteristics of Chinese traditional painting style in the process of being introduced into China.In particular,due to convenient painting materials and low prices,watercolor has a great development space in the fields of education,decorative painting,billboards and publications.In the process of watercolor communication,social education communication was the most important way in the period of the republic of China,which was closely related to the social environment,government support and the voluntary organization of the folk lovers at that time.In this context,art colleges and universities across the country are springing up like bamboo shoots after a spring rain to popularize watercolor courses,which greatly promotes the rapid spread of watercolor in the market.Such as Wang jiyuan,Li yongsen,Wang zhaomin,Ni yide and other excellent watercolor painters.On the one hand,the spread of watercolor as a commercial form strengthens the public’s understanding of western culture and the aesthetic appreciation of watercolor painting;on the other hand,it also increases the inspiration of watercolor artists for the creation of watercolor painting,which makes the creation idea of watercolor painting reach a climax.Based on the original literature and integrating the research methods of art,aesthetics,sociology and social education,this paper focuses on the study of the spread and development of watercolor painting in the period of the republic of China,and on this basis analyzes the role of watercolor painting in art education and the value of watercolor art thought to the society in the period of the republic of China.This paper expounds the development of Chinese watercolor painting in the republic of China from five aspects and interprets the development course of watercolor painting in the growing period.
