The Study Of Political Party Politics In Malaysia Since Independence

Party politics is a mode of running a state which has been practiced in Malaysia for more than half a century.Since its independence in 1957,Malaysia has inherited a set of"British,Westminster" multi-party political and democratic election model from British colonists.The "308 political tsunami" in 2013 marked the trend of political parties in Malaysia towards two multi-party coalitions taking turns to govern.Mahathir,who led the Alliance of Hope to win elections and regain power in 2018,is a hallmark of this trend.The social governance in Malaysia is complicated and fragmented by the practice of Party politics.To study the particularity of Malaysian national conditions,sort out the ethnic differences of Malaysian political party politics,and observe the Islamization process of Malaysian political party politics are the starting points of this paper.Firstly,this paper discusses the theory,origin and mode of classical political party politics,including three aspects:the concept of political party politics,the types of political party politics,and the significance of political party politics;secondly,it combs the key political events in Malaysia since independence and their impact on the political situation of political parties,through combing Malay West.The historical facts of the political development of Asian political parties,a specific analysis of the formation process of Malaysian political parties;and then to explore the characteristics and causes of political parties in Malaysia,on the basis of historical statements,this chapter strives to make a general summary of the characteristics and causes of political parties in Malaysia;finally,the basis of the first three chapters discussed.Above,do a refined interpretation,analyze the influence and Enlightenment of Malaysia party politics.In the process of research,this paper synthesizes the literature integration and theoretical analysis,uses the methods of analysis and synthesis,induction and deduction,ion and concrete thinking,and makes a detailed analysis and Research on the literature collected through the system.On the basis of the theory of Party politics,this paper first defines and orientates the party politics in Malaysia.After that,the focus political events in Malaysia are specifically analyzed,and then the characteristics and causes of Malaysian party politics are elaborated,and the future trend of Malaysian party politics is scientifically judged.Studies have shown that the political party politics in Malaysia is the result of ethnic conflicts,religious conflicts and the influence of British colonial sovereignty.Ethnicity and religiosity are the most important characteristics.Malaysian political party politics is a kind of semi-authoritarian political party politics,a kind of political party politics in which the ethnic interests of the Malays are paramount,a political party politics with the color of national chauvinism,and a "hegemonic road" dominated by UMNO for a long time.Malaysia is obviously and severely hampered by external factors.The internal political situation is unstable.The future direction of Malaysia needs further observation.But in general,the "two line system" should be the trend and trend of the party politics in Malaysia.
