The Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi is the most outstanding opera composer of Europe in the 19th century.《Simon Boccanegra》is the 20th work completed by Giuseppe Verdi when he was 43 years old.The original author of the play was a play of the same name published by the Spanish writer Gutierrez in 1843.The aria“I1 lacerato spirito" is the aria of the bass in Verdi’s work.This aria is characterized by its complete structure,rich texture and rich emotional expression,which can fully express the vocal characteristics of the bass range.Therefore,it plays a pivotal role in bass arias.This article takes the bass aria“Ⅱ lacerato spirito" in the Verdi opera《Simon Boccanegra》as the research object,focusing on the analysis of the artistic characteristics of Verdi’s bass aria“Il lacerato spirito" from its plot,role shaping,literary ideology,tonality and harmony layout,and emotional performance.At the same time,combined with my own singing practice,studying the singing technique of the bass base on the plot,made the singer have more experience and reflection to the character and the story of the Verdi works,and have a more accurate grasp of the singing style on Verdi operas.The thesis is divided into three chapters,the two subsections of the first chapter,focusing on the life story of Verdi and the storyline of his opera《Simon Boccanegra》,allowing the reader to have a general understanding of the background,this is conducive to understanding the analysis of the following paragraphs.the two subsections of the second chapter,its focuses on the analysis of the the bass aria“I1 lacerato spirito" by analyzing the two angles of the song,which are the literary aspect of lyric and Tonality&Musical form aspect.On third chapter,the main content is a combination of my own learning experience,and my views of how to express emotions and skills of singingDuring the process of learning this aria.It is my practice summary of the singing analysis of this work. |
