| This article took the Overseas Chinese Students and Other Foreign Students who were studying in Yunnan University and Yuxi Normal University as study subjects.It compared the Chinese discourse markers from those two kinds of international students by using their conversation recording.Through setting Chinese native speakers’discourse markers as a standard and comparing those two kind of students’ discourse markers with the standard,it summarized the commons and differences between Overseas Chinese Students and Other Foreign Students in using discourse markers.Further more,it also studied the questionnaires to analyze the reasons of the discrepancy.At last,the acquisition inspiration and related suggestions were proposed.Based on the relevant researchers,this article made further study on the discourse markers:firstly,under the current situation of Chinese internationalization,it focused on the particularity of Overseas Chinese Students in the acquistion of Chinese.It discussed the commons and differences between Overseas Chinese Students and Other Foreign Students in the acquisition of Chinese discourse markers.Secondly,by taking into account the impact of the target language environment on Chinese students’ acquisition of discourse markers,it made the result more referential by keeping the consistent of recording conditions,forms,and content of speech recording corpora between the control group which were native Chinese speakers and international students groups.Thirdly,quantitative and qualitative research methods were used to quantitatively compare and analyze Chinese discourse markers used in the spontaneous expression of Overseas Chinese Students and Other Foreign Students.This study showed that neither Overseas Chinese Students nor Other Foreign Students acquired the Chinese discourse markers well enough.The use frequency of Chinese discourse markers of Other Foreign Students is higher than that of Overseas Chinese Students,and the use type is more abundant than that of Overseas Chinese Students,and the distribution of the use type and the use frequency is closer to that of native speakers.Overseas Chinese Students in the acquisition of Chinese discourse markers is not superior to Other Foreign Students,even though overseas Chinese students has language experience and cultural background.Overseas Chinese Students too frequently used some Chinese discourse markers,obviously affected by the dialect.In addition,the test results also showed that the two kind of international students who learning Chinese discourse markers lacking in learning awareness.Overseas Chinese Students are less interested in learning Chinese discourse markers in class.Therefore,this article puts forward some suggestions on strengthening the teaching of Chinese discourse markers,cultivating students’ awareness of learning Chinese discourse markers,and creating a good acquisition environment. |
