Anger is one of the authoritative representatives of French neo-classical painting in the 19 th century.His oil paintings reflect its rigorous,regular,orderly and delicate classicism from composition to modeling,from modeling to color,and from color to brushstrokes.taste.He embodies the worship of ancient Greek and Roman art in the form of classicism painting.At the same time,his works also contain tight scientific human anatomy and geometrical compositional segmentation and decorative features of color,especially for the sake of making the picture.To achieve the ideal aesthetic effect,subjective and even unscientific exaggeration and distortion of the shape of some characters,from this aspect also reflects his romantic feelings and some kind of connection with the image style of modernism.In order to better analyze the deformed style in Angle’s modeling language,this paper uses literature,case analysis,comparison and image analysis to focus on four aspects: composition,shape,color and stroke.Analyze the characteristics of Angle’s oil paintings,and analyze Angle’s creative ideas from the two attitudes of emotional and rational.In addition,this article also conducts relevant comparative analysis of his creative theories with several representative painters of different ages in both China and the West,in order to have a more comprehensive and three-dimensional understanding of the painting styles and concepts of the Anger figurative transformation.This article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter describes the formation of Angle’s artistic conception.The second chapter analyzes the modeling language features of Angle’s paintings.The third chapter reflects and analogies the shape characteristics of Inger sculptures.The last chapter is the conclusion of this article.
