Vladimir Lossky(1903-1958)was a theologian of the Russian orthodox church in the 19 th century. His religion humanism inherited the medieval Greek Christian mystical theology, and was interpreted and extended in the context of modern theological thought.Lossky religious anthropology is based on the discussion of the relationship between man and god in the Russian orthodox community in Paris. From the perspective of god creating man in the bible,Lossky thinks about the entity and personality of god’s holy trinity. The possibility of oneness with god is demonstrated by constructing the conceptual world of god, distinguishing the essence of god from the energy of god.The nature of god is unknowable, but his essence can be revealed through energy.People can grasp the trinity god image in the non-created grace of nature and thus overcome the 〝non-existence " and 〝nihility".He believed that people can shape themselves through personality, participate in god′s energy through the perfection of 〝individual will" and 〝natural will",he give play to the goodness of grace and overcome the evil from 〝non-existence".According to Lossky′s theory, the salvation of the holy father is embodied in the coming of the son and the coming of the holy spirit, and people need to give their own nature to accept grace and obey the will of god.Lossky illustrates how grace works in the salvation of man through the illustration of light in the incarnation of the son,in the body of Christ and the holy spirit-the image of the church, and in the language of the godhead beyond doctrine. Thus demonstrating that man′s mission of freedom as a creature is made possible by grace. The dualism characteristic of Lossky ′ s religious humanism explains thevoluntarism theory of human nature, participating in god.His view of human studies is enlightening to modern psychology, but the fuzziness of his theory and the insufficiency of philosophical language in the perspective of theology also constitute the debate about his religious studies.
