Since the implementation of the new round of curriculum reform,the “student participation” research has become a hot issue in the current education.However,in the actual teaching,the teacher's understanding of student participation seems to have a bias,and the classroom seems to be very lively but actually the student participation is not high.Therefore,the research and study of student participation in classroom teaching has both theoretical and practical significance.This research is based on Bruner's discovery of learning theory and constructivist theory.From the perspective of teaching management,the research methods of questionnaires and interviews are mainly used to study the active participation of junior high school English classroom students.This study aims to conduct a detailed investigation of the active participation of junior high school students in the English classroom,and proposes ways to improve the active participation of junior high school students in the classroom from the perspective of education management.This paper selects four classes in the second grades of junior high school in Zhongshan as the survey subject,and carries the survey from the students' emotional participation,cognitive participation and behavioral participation.Then,from the overall participation of students' behavioral participation,cognitive participation and emotional participation,the author investigates the status of active participation through classroom observation.The research is surrounded by three questions.Theyare:(1)What problems exist in junior high school English students actively participating?(2)Why are junior high school English students involved in English class at low level?(3)How to solve the problem of low participation of junior high school English class students? The survey method is mainly used to carry out the three aspects of students' emotional participation,cognitive participation and behavioral participation.Finally,three major problems were found:(1)Students have the low level of active participation of junior high school English classes.(2)Students are more tendency to participate passively and they choose the substitute participation in the classroom.(3)Students lack the intrinsic motivation to participate actively.From the problems above,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures for the above problems from the perspective of teaching management:(1)Establish concept and guide students to participate actively;(2)Cultivate students' interest in learning English;(3)Provide opportunity for students to participate;(4)Create a relaxed and pleasant classroom atmosphere;(5)Use flexible and diverse forms of teaching.
