Modeling is to shape the shape,which not only fixes the inherent visual image of the objective things in the two-dimensional plane or three-dimensional space with certain materials to reproduce visual and perceptual existence,but also refers to the creation of the object image.Modeling is of great significance in the painting,and character shaping is an important part of figure painting.In the painting the painter fixes substantive characteristics of the objective things by observing and thinking about in the form of visual image.Some painters try to imitate the objects that they paint while some painters put their subjective consciousness,such as thought emotion,aesthetic appeal and artistic concept and so on,into the character modeling which they mold.Guan Liang’s figure painting of Chinese ink opera has a unique shape.By consulting and studying his era and life experience,this paper studies the characteristics of his figure painting of Chinese ink opera and the reasons for its formation,and analyzes the reasons for its unique character modeling style.In the complex social background of the salvation and enlightenment of China in the 20 th century,Guan Liang studied oil painting in Japan and began to learn Chinese painting after returning to China.On the one hand,his figure painting of ink and opera was influenced by western art,and on the other hand,he inherited the characteristics of Chinese traditional freehand painting and folk traditional art.He enjoys listening to and watching plays and also does research into the drama.His ink opera character modeling is formed by simplifyingand exaggerating according to the characters’ characteristics of the opera on the stage.Such a manifestation mode highlights the characters of different characters and spiritual temperament.It also expresses the author’s feelings.By studying the character modeling of Guan Liang’s opera figure painting,I can learn the reasons and characteristics of his modeling formation,which will greatly inspire me in my future figure painting creation and can provide new ideas for the creation of modern figure painting.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces Guan Liang’s life experience and the historical background of his life.The second chapter studies and analyzes the formation reasons of the figure painting of Guan Liang’s ink opera in three aspects: the influence of traditional folk culture,the characteristics of traditional freehand style and the influence of western painting.The third chapter analyzes the development process of the figure painting style of Guan Liang’s ink opera by comparing the representative works in different periods.The fourth chapter concludes its modeling characteristics by giving examples and analyzing the figure painting works of Guan Liang’s ink opera.In the fifth chapter,by studying and summarizing the formation reasons and modeling characteristics of the figure painting of Guan Liang’s ink opera,The author analyze its artistic value and inspiration for my personal creation.On the one hand,it deepens my understanding of the figure painting of ink opera;on the other hand,it is of guiding significance for my future creation. |
